Funeral Services for Mr. Paul D. Jordan, Sr., age 90 of Rainbow City, will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Bankson officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Jordan passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 peacefully, surrounded by family at his home. Paul was born March 25, 1932 in Attalla, son of the late Arnold Russell “A.R.” and Viola (Jarett) Jordan. He married Helen Maxine (Causey) Jordan July 2nd 1952, she survives. He owned and operated Paul’s Chevron until he retired in 2000. He also worked at A.R.’s Watch and Clock Repair. He accepted Christ as his savior in July of 1978 and dedicated the rest of his life to serving the lord. He was a deacon and treasurer at Gadsden Baptist Temple as well as at Cove Creek Baptist church.
He is survived by his sons, Paul David Jr. (Kathy) of Trussville, Michael (Karen) of Union City, TN, James “Mickey” (Pam) of Rainbow City and Phillip (Shelly) of Attalla; 10 grandchildren, Jamie (John David) Smith, Doug (Becky) Jordan, Dallas Jordan, Angela (Richard) Bolt, Christi (Jason) Means, Erica (Eric) Roebuck, Dustin (Tabitha) Jordan, Nicholas Jordan, Melissa (Kris) Jordan, Matthew (Rachel) Jordan; 24 great grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister Joan; three brothers, Noel, John and Kenneth; and granddaughter Julie.
Pallbearers will be Doug, Dallas, Dustin, Matthew Jordan, John-David Smith, Jason Means, Richard Bolt, and Eric Roebuck.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Wednesday.
