Mrs. Walker was born in Alabama and moved to Illinois and worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company until the birth of her children. Her husband, John worked for Caterpillar and upon his retirement they moved to Southside.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Vaughn; sons, John Walker and Michael (Michelle) Walker; grandchildren, Amber Vaughn, Brittany (Andrew) Hertenstein, Shannon Walker, Leslie Hoose, Brian (Holly) Vaughn; great grandchildren, Clara and Caden Waldrop, Brittney and Brylee Freeman, Aiden and Brantlee Vaughn, Kaleigh Patterson, Aliviah Long, Braxton Vaughn, Ariah Adams, Isla and Rowan Hertenstein.
