Larry Stephan Wood

Visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, with Bro. Eddie King officiating. Burial will follow at Noble Hill Cemetery.

Larry worked in the food business as a salesman for many years until he retired. He loved his family more than anything and always did what he could to help anyone. He always lit up a room with his amazing smile and loving energy, He was such a special person that made everyone feel welcome and loved. He was a godly and humble man who didn't take life for granted. Most of all, he truly was the most amazing father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Dan Wood; stepdaughter, Amy Grizzard Heard; siblings, Patricia Roden, Brenda Sweatt, Danny Wood, Bobby Wood; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Larry is survived by Alisa Wood; his daughter, Ashley Wood Jones; sister, Faye McCain; grandsons, Leytin and Caiden Jones; great granddaughter, Lailan Jones; stepchildren, Anthony Dingler, Brantley (Omega and Rinne) Jones, and Valerie (Lot and Lydia) Maxwell

Pallbearers will be Todd Hill, Mark Hill, Justin Jones, Lot Maxwell, Brantley Jones, and Anthony Dingler.

Honorary pallbearers are Leytin Jones, Caiden Jones, Dewayne Wood, Brian Chaffin, and Jason McCain.
