Harvey Hampton Pinson Jr.

Born on October 11, 1943, in Attalla, Alabama, to Harvey Hampton Pinson Sr and Grady Lucille Pinson (Mason). An Emma Samson Rebel and Gadsden Business College graduate. He passed away at age of 79, on 5 August 2023, surrounded by his family.

Husband, barely shy of 56 years, to his loving wife, Carolyn Irene Pinson (Hammette). Dedicated and loving father of Harvey DWayne Pinson, Terry Keith Pinson (Jennifer) and Angela Sheree Arasmith (David). Proud papa to Harvey “Buddy”, Jonathan, Ashley Pinson, Riley Arasmith, Bentley, Hunter and Barrett Pinson. Sisters in law Sherry Hornbuckle (Donnie), Darlene Stanford (Mike) and Elmyra Hammett.

Preceded in death by siblings Barbara Broom, Dorothy Beasley, Richard Pinson and baby brother James Pinson. Brother to surviving siblings Helen Brothers and Beth Dial.

A loving and kind personality, admired by all that knew him. Harvey was hard working and funny, beloved, respected and dearly missed.

Funeral Service will be at 12pm Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 until 12pm. Burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
