Doug was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed working on cars and loved racing them. His grandchildren was his world and he loved spending any minute he could with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Jimmy Hopkins.
He is survived by his children, Kristin Hopkins (Jajuan); Tyler (Savannah) Hopkins; Nicole Hatley; sister, Kristie (Frankie) Mabe; grandchildren, Mya Howard, Leyah Howard, JJ Howard, Maverick Hopkins; nieces, Heather Mabe, Kacie Mabe; and his wife, Karen Hopkins.
