Dennis Tate

Dennis Durand Tate, age 73, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Dennis was born November 9, 1948 and was a graduate of Gadsden High School, Class of 1967. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11a.m. until 1p.m.

Dennis worked for Liberty National, FM Market, and held a position in private security at DSI. He enjoyed golf, billiards, fishing, woodworking and spending time with grandkids and great grandkids. He loved taking care of the family pets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Tressie Tate of Gadsden, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Peggy Ann Tate, daughters, Jennifer Tate (Danny Kimbril) , Tina D. Chason (Ron), Mary Ann Conley, Alisha Kathleen Martin (Dave), Tonya Hay (Jimmy).; grandkids, Cody Hamilton, Ronnie Chason, Liz Chason, Kevin Harden, Krissie Chapman, Christopher Chason, R.C. Conley, Cody Aultman, Michael Phillips, Carrie Alexander, Dalyn Smith, Brayden Gibbs.; Great grandkids, Deagan & Vance Walden, Claire Dobson, Mark, Matthew, Malachi, and Rosemary Whisenant, Alaya Conley, Caroline Phillips, Levi Alexander. Also survived by Patricia (Sis) Hood, (Jack) and Ronnie Duncan.

Pallbearers will be Ron Chason, David Martin, Dalyn Smith, Cody Aultman, R.C. Conley, Michael Phillips, Timmy Chapman, and Malachi Whisenant.
