Danny Wayne Thrasher

Funeral Service will be at 2pm Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Billy Thrasher officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 until 2pm. Burial at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Danny retired from Door Worx in Boaz. He was a 1977 graduate of West End High School in Walnut Grove, Alabama. Danny loved his dog Penny. He enjoyed gardening and watching Alabama Football.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Corson and brother, Johnny Mac Thrasher; niece, Jennifer Davenport Bean; nephews, Brian (Jennifer) Davenport, Scotty (Kelli) Hubbard, Wayne (Jessica) Hubbard; great-niece, Emma Bean; great-nephews Harry Hubbard, Sam & Owen Hubbard including many aunts, uncles, and cousins; Special Friend, Amie Fowler.



Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents, S.T. and Lily Mae Cothran, G.W. and Verna Thrasher; parents, Jerry and Shelby Thrasher; brothers, Tommy & Terry Thrasher; sisters, Sharon Hubbard & Vickie Thrasher and great-nephew, Payton Riley Bean. 


Special Thanks to Talmadge Cothran who was more like a brother than an uncle.

Pallbearers will be Richard Dixon, Rodney Dixon, Stanley Dixon, Larry Dixon, Justin Thrasher, and Mark Carter.
