Clara Robinson

Clara Jean "Sissy" Robinson, age 81, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, from 11 – 12 p.m. Service begins at 12 p.m. in the chapel with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Attalla, AL. Sister Lennie Jo Carroll officiating.

Sissy was full of God and loved the church. She loved thrift stores. She could “shop till she dropped”, and always found the best of deals.

Preceded in death by her parents; mother, Clara Beard, and her father, J.T. Teal; grandmother, Mommy Mims; daughter, Jeanie Copeland; son, Toney Copeland; grandchildren, Adam Copeland and Jennifer Copeland.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Phillip Robinson; daughter Michele Dietz (Johnathon); son, Mike Copeland (Donna); grandchildren, Elizabeth Cook (Jamey), Matthew Copeland (Kendell), Katie Dietz and Ty Copeland; sisters, Barbara Teal, Frances Roberts (Wilson) and Julie Teal; brothers, Danny Teal, Jerry Teal, Larry Teal (Diane), Johnny Beard (Carol), Quinton Beard (Aida), daughter-in-law, Gerri Copeland.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Special thanks to her nurses Kristy Gwin and Karen Payne for the care they did for my Mrs. Sissy in her time of sickness and to the staff of Encompass Health.
