Carolyn R Whisenant

Carolyn R Whisenant, age 77, of Steele, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. Carolyn was born August 22, 1944. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, December 13, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Danny Bowlin will be officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 until 2p.m.

Carolyn worked over 30 years at Tyson Foods. She enjoyed writing poems, drawing, spending time with grandkids and great grandkids and going to Amish Country. She loved taking care of her animals and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.B. and Catherine Reeves; brothers, Ronnie, Carl and Phillip Reeves.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry Whisenant Sr.; sons, Henry Whisenant Jr. (Gail), Jason Whisenant, Robert Whisenant (Angela); grandkids, Jennifer Phillips (Michael), John Whisenant (Corey), Ethan Whisenant, Stephanie Diaz (Angel), Emily Whisenant, Jacob Whisenant, Cody Whisenant (Amber), Brittany Sauls (Matt), Kayla Whisenant; Great grandkids, Mollie, Hayden,

Cohen Phillips, Ledger Diaz, Allison Whisenant , Magnus, Eli, Sebastion and Skylyr Whisenant.

Pallbearers will be Tim Hollingsworth, James Whisenant, Hayden Phillips, John Whisenant, Ethan Whisenant, Cody Whisenant.

Honorary pallbearers will be great grandsons.
