Barbara was born October 19, 1949 and raised in Jackson County, Flat Rock, AL. She was employed 30 years with Attalla Board of Education, where she worked in the lunchroom at Stowers Hill. She enjoyed cooking and working with her flowers, but most of all loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her cat, Peaches. She had a kind, loving heart, would help anyone, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Campbell; parents, Ray and Penny Shaw; and sister, Frances Perry Williams.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Vickie (Lee) Harris of Rainbow City; sons, Chris (Lindsay) Campbell of Boaz; Steven (Mischelle) Campbell of Collinsville; and Adam (Joanna) Campbell of Gadsden; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Charlotte) Shaw of Henagar; sisters, Mickey (Gwen Nunley) of Flat Rock; and Patricia Kenyon of Ringgold, GA; brothers-in-law, Scott Campbell, Wilmer Campbell, and Allen Patterson all of Attalla, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Seth Taylor, Mattie Poe, David Patterson, Chris Patterson, Tony Patterson, and Jed Walden.
Honorary pallbearers will be the grandsons. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Deborah Reiland and staff, Dr. Fernandez, Dr. Narayan and the nurses at Riverview Medical CCU.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 6-8pm friends and family; Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 5-8 pm and Friday, February 17, 2023 from 9am until service time at 11am at the funeral home.
