Mr. Arthur Leroy Edmondson, age 89 of Gallant joined his wife in Heaven on July 8, 2024. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 5 until 7pm. Memorial Service and interment will be held privately.
Arthur was a loving father, husband, Pop, and friend. He was happiest in the woods tending to his food plot, talking about hunting and watching girls’ softball. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew him.
Arthur was preceded in passing by his parents, Joseph and Annie; his loving wife, Sue Edmondson; his daughter, Debra Crowe; grandson, Tyler McCurry; along with his nine siblings.
He leaves behind his children, Richard Edmondson (Gail), Joe Edmondson, T.J. Edmondson (Denise), Candy McCurry (John), and Kenneth Schweinberg, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many that offered their prayers and compassion, and a special thanks extended to Compassus Hospice.
