Patrick “Michael” Smith, 57 died Sunday in his Atlanta home. He is survived by his wife, Rhu, and son Elijah. Michael’s sister Geraldine Mabe and husband Richard from West End, NC, sister Janice Parnell and husband Donald from Red Springs, NC, brother Bobby Smith and wife Wanda from Robbins, NC, and brother Billy McInnis and wife Barbara of Red Springs, NC, also a special “aunt” Mary Ella Stultz, Rhu’s family, father, Lt. Col. Robert N. Longfellow, San Diego, CA and mother, Jean Longfellow of Pinehurst, NC, brother Ian and family of Pinehurst, NC and brother Lance and family of Pittsburgh, PA. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Mary and Pat Smith. Guest will be received Wednesday, February 15th from 2-4 at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel 4550 Peachtree Rd. N. E. Atlanta, GA 30319 with funeral services immediately following at 4:00 PM.
