Graveside funeral services and Christian Burial for Margaret R. Booth, 91, a resident of Chamblee, Georgia, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Georgia.
Mrs. Booth was called home on June 18, 2018 at the Halcyon Hospice and Palliative Care Center, in Sandy Springs, Georgia, after a long battle with cancer. Margaret, born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, was the daughter of Albert and Frances Roberts. She was united in marriage to Herschel Booth in 1949 until his death in 2002. They were married for 53 wonderful years.
After college, Margaret worked in administration for the government, retiring from the CDC in Atlanta.
Loving wife and mother, Mrs. Booth, along with her family, was an active member of the Chamblee First United Methodist Church for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Linda, son David, granddaughter Serena, grandson Joshua, along with several beautiful great-grandchildren.
She is greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
