David Young Carter

David Young Carter, 82, of Tucker died on Sunday, December 15th 2019. A native of Gwinnett County, he was the son of the late David Young Carter, Sr. and Bertha Maughon Carter. Dave was preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Keith and Lois Hunt. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Cora Bolton Carter; daughters, Laurie Carter, Leigh Ann Carter Holdridge; precious grandchildren, Hannah and Ben Parten, Haley and Heather Holdridge; sister, Jean Sinyard and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 19th at eleven o’clock in the morning at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with Reverend Jim Hersh officiating. A reception will follow. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family Wednesday from four until six o’clock at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill.
