Claudia “Dianne” Harris Kington peacefully left this earth on October 13, 2021. Born to Ralph and Eloise Harris on June 23, 1950, Dianne spent her life tirelessly working as a dedicated loving mother and teacher throughout Hardeman and Shelby County Schools.
Dianne was born and raised in Bolivar, Tennessee where she attended Bolivar Central Highschool and went on to obtain her Masters in Teaching at Memphis State University.
Dianne was a dedicated loving mother who treasured her role in life most to being Mimi to her grandchildren Hayden Marie Kington, John Michael “Eoin” Kington III, Brooklyn Moss and Paxton Moss. Her life was a testament to her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God forgave you.”
Her loving personality lives on in her surviving family, sister Carolyn Harris Moss, her son John “Jay” Michael Kington II and daughter-in-law, Dr. Daniella Barker Kington, her daughter Jennifer Kington Moss and son-in-law, Ronnie Moss Jr.
