Charles Russell Hardy, who resided in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on August, 12, 1942. Mr. Hardy graduated from Gainesville High School and attended college in Georgia. Charles and Ann Woodfin Hardy were married on June 22, 1974 in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Hardy was retired and had enjoyed a career in sales, especially at Hardy’s Finest Candy Company. He is survived by his wife, Ann, and his sons, Russ (Brooke) Hardy and Bryan Hardy. He was especially proud to have a beautiful granddaughter who brought him much joy, Miss Stella Grace Hardy. A visitation and reception will be held in his honor at H M Patterson and Son, located at 4550 Peachtree Rd N.E., Brookhaven, Georgia, 30319, on Thursday June 8, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
