Brian J. Barclay, age 49, of Atlanta Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Brian was born April 4, 1973, in Montgomery, Alabama. Born into an Air Force family, Brian lived in six states and Germany before age 20. He graduated from Beavercreek High School, Ohio in 1991. In high school, he was a senior class officer, President of the school chapter of the National Honor Society, and member of the golf team. Brian received a BA degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and pursued graduate studies in Software Engineering at Georgia Tech. Brian worked as a software engineer/programmer for several firms in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia, most recently for Gunbroker.com Inc. in Atlanta.
Brian is survived by his two sons, Jack H. Barclay and Reece B. Barclay; his former wife, Jennifer Ruddell Barclay; his brother, David W. Barclay of Arizona; and his mother and father, Barbara S. and Robert L. Barclay of Florida.
A visitation for Brian will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
