A native of Oglethorpe County, Ms. Whitehead was a daughter of the late Henry Milton Booth and Hazel Armour Booth. She was employed by Athens Allergy and Asthma Clinic for over 10 years.
Survivors include daughters, Kelli Whitehead, Nicole Whitehead and fiancé, Joshua Allen, all of Danielsville; former husband, Eugene Whitehead; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Booth Brubaker and Wayne Brubaker of Crawford; grandchildren, Benjamin Porcelli, Zachary Allen and a third grandchild due in March.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, called “Gigi” by her grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 8 at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Church with Pastors Scott Sheppard and Robert Sheppard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
