Mrs. Fowler, or better known as "Sister Fowler" to her church family, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a dedicated Christian, who stood tall in her faith, and was proud to be the prayer warrior that everyone knew to call. She was a homemaker and the First Lady of Faith Pentecostal Church for 45 years where she helped lead countless souls to Christ. She will be remembered for her love of the Lord, a good shopping trip and infectious smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John Davison and Luvie McDonald; and her loving husband of 60 years, Reverend Billy James Fowler.
She is survived by her two daughters: Kim Haynes of Hull and Karla Wallace (Wayne) of Crawford; grandchildren: Rebecca (Kale), Elizabeth (Ethan), Holley (Blake), Jordan (Hillary) and Faith; nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 7, at 3:30 p.m., at Colbert City Cemetery, with Reverends Blake Smith, Dewain French and Jerry Patterson officiating.
Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
