Born in Savannah, SPO Croxton was a 26-year veteran of the Athens-Clarke County Police Department who served the agency with dedication and professionalism. SPO Croxton had a unique ability to connect with people and always displayed compassion, empathy, and kind-heartedness. During her time with the department, SPO Croxton served in various roles as a police officer. She spent time in patrol operations, criminal investigations, forensics, and most recently the administration. She was a wonderful baker and loved reading and crafts.
Survivors include her mom and dad, Clydette and Tom Frederick; father, Bruce Bramblett and wife, Dee, brother, David Bramblett; sisters: Laura Gregory and husband, Justin, and Rachel Hoyle and husband, Tim; nephew, Kellen Gregory; and much loved, Michael Gutiérrez.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Bramblett.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m., at Cornerstone Church, 4680 Lexington Road, Athens.
Please note that the entire ceremony will be contained within the church premises. There will be no visitation, procession, or graveside service.
All family, friends, and colleagues are invited to attend the service as we honor and remember her life and service to the community. All others that wish to pay their respects to SPO Croxton are asked to line the entrance to Cornerstone Church at 12:30 p.m. as the the family is escorted to the service. Those wishing to line the roadway are asked to park at Southeast Clarke Park.
