She was born in Madison County, Georgia. Mrs. Kesler was the daughter of William and Cora Barrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman (T. A.) Kesler; two sisters, Anne Ross and Lucille Baugh; and two brothers, Coile and Norman Barrett.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a founding member of Crossroads Community Church. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Austin and Cindy Kesler and Doug and Denise Kesler, Colbert; eight grandchildren – Megan Kesler, Kayde Kesler, Brooke Kesler, Ally Kesler, Treena Aaron, Chris Kesler, and Amy Bradshaw; and eight great-grandchildren – Parker, Jace, and Audri Aaron; Kendal, Kole, and Kyle Kesler; and Hunter and Macy Bradshaw; a sister, Bonnie Schuyler, Titusville, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, February 27, 2012 at Crossroads Church with interment at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Athens with Pastor Morris Sapp and Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. Pallbearers will be Enoch Aaron, Ryan Gurley, Zach McCain, Wesley Jenkins, Mark Turner, and Mark Tyner.
