Born in Columbus, GA, Molly was the daughter of Brian Webb Ridley and Kim Worthington Ridley of Chattanooga, TN. She graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in both psychology and biology. Molly enjoyed swimming, hiking and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by grandmother, Martha Ann Stancil Ridley.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of two years, Samuel McKie of Athens; son, Hudson McKie of Athens; stepmother, Teresa Marie Ridley of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Sara Ann Ridley Laundry (Wes) of Chattanooga, TN and Courtney Turner (James) of Alabama; grandfather, John Webb Ridley; grandmothers, Lynda Worthington and Sarah Dell McKie; uncle, Jonathan Weldon Ridley of North Carolina; brother-in-law, Davy Lee McKie of Athens.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kevin Denton officiating.
