She was preceded in death by one son, Danny Savage; a sister, Nancy Carson; and a brother, David Shelton.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, James L. Savage of Watkinsville; children, Keith Savage (Kathy) of Athens, Franklin Todd Huff of Athens, Rodney Lee Huff (Cynthia) of Watkinsville; a brother, Jerry Shelton of Rutledge; two sisters, Rita Kinney of Rutledge, Diane Crosby of Rutledge; four grandchildren, Eric and C.J. Savage, Lauren and Lee Huff; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30 from 7-9 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
