He was born in Sharon, Pa., and graduated from Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, Ga. and attended Georgia Southern University.
He is survived by his father, Robert Pintar Sr.; three brothers, Bob Jr., Jack and Tom; and other family members.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 21, at 11:00 a.m., at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home.
