A native of Athens, Mr. Pinson was a son of the late Ollie Pinson and Nell Skinner Pinson. He worked for Georgia Power for 41 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Pinson.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Cobb Pinson; daughters, Leigh Hardy (Martin Johnson) and Tanya Mallow (Brian); brother, J. Lane Pinson (Karla); sister, Lynn Bryant (Dwayne); granddaughter, Arial Skwarek; nephew, Andy Bryant; nieces, Melanie Pinson and Michelle Cole.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
