My regards to family and friends in their time of loss.  I remember being in Prof. Henkel's Legal Environment class my first year at UGA.  I loved this class so much that I would come by during office hours, not because I needed help with the material but because I wanted to know more about law and to discuss current events related to the course.  Prof. Henkel suggested that I consider law school.  Needless to say I did.  I now teach business law and I was recently tenured.  None of this would have happened without inspiration for Prof. Henkel.

Audrey and the family:  I am so, so sorry for your loss.  Jan was a long-time colleague of ours in the Legal Studies department and he will always be remembered for his contributions to the department and to the Academy of Legal Studies in Business.

We were so sorry to learn of Jan's death while we are out of town.  Our sincerest sympathy to all his family. I enjoyed knowing Jan while on the faculty of the Terry College of Business. Prayers all around,
