James Philip Hammond, 58, of Athens, GA passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
A native of Athens, GA, Mr. Hammond was the son of the late William C. Hammond and Betty Hardigree Hammond and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Thomas Hammond.
Survivors include son, Philip Hammond; daughter, Amy Drake (Christopher); brothers, Clifford Hammond, Bryan “Buddy” Hammond, and Glenn Hammond; sisters, Karen Hammond and Shelby Brehm, and granddaughter, Briana Lopez.
The family will receive friends 6-8PM Saturday, July 30th at Bernstein Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
