Herman was the son of the late Edna Bingham, born and raised in Dalton, and spent most of his life in North Georgia.
He is preceded by sisters Stella ("Pat") Smith and Barbara Hyde, survived by sons Tyler and Mike Bingham, grandsons Damien and Daniel Bingham, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Herman was a UGA graduate and lifelong Bulldog fan, an avid golfer, a man of strong Christian faith, and a loving, supportive, devoted father. He will be dearly missed.
