He was born in Akron, Ohio and spent the last 15 plus years in Bogart, Ga. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wolfe; and wife, Janie Stevens Wolfe; and his stepson, Nick Stevens.
He is survived by his father, Ralph Wolfe; his sister, Kathy (Roger) Scarbro; brother, Chris Wolfe; son, Roger (Beth) Smith; daughter, Shelli (Mike) Black; grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
David was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and teaching Sunday School. He was a machinist for Karg Corp. for many years and later in life he was a jack of all trades helping neighbors and friends. He will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Briarwood Baptist Church, 1900 Robinhood Rd., Watkinsville, Ga., on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 1:00 pm.
