Barbara Grier

Barbara was the daughter of the late Sylvis Ace Richardson and Virginia Maxine Girton.

She was preceded in the death by a daughter, Tammy Grier Young and a granddaughter, Jennifer Anne Mason.

Survivors include her children, Tonie Grier Mason (James) of Manning, SC, Thomas Grier of Hoschton, GA, Tyrus Grier of Greenville, SC, Jason Grier of Atlanta, GA; Son-In-Law, Jim Young; two brothers, Daniel Richardson and Daryn Richardson; five sisters, Sybil Hadfield, Gloria Phipps, Brenda Lawson, Patti Anspach and Rhonda Richardson; Six grandchildren, Jamie Hodgson, Katie Fuller, Amber Mardis, Jonathan Young, Sara Grier and Sam Grier; four great-grandchildren, Kevin Mardis, Abbie Mardis, Emma Mason and Jack Fuller; and her nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to her sister Sybil and niece Peggy for their unwavering support. The family wants to thank the physicians and staff of the University Cancer and Blood Center, staff of Novant Oncology and Radiation, Bridgeway Hospice, and the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
