Amber “Aunt Sister” Dickerson, age 100 of Winchester, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Southern Manor. She was a third grade teacher for 42 years and a 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church in Athens, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin E. Daniel and Willie Simmons Daniel; husband, Dr. James L. Dickerson; and sister, Mary Daniel Kidd. She is survived by her niece, Debra (Tom) Mahler of Winchester, TN.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Wednesday, September 10th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-3PM prior to the service at Bernstein.
