Mildred Genell Lewis Phillips

Mildred was born May 1, 1934 in Five Points, TN to Clifford Morrison and Inez Jewel Alexander Morrison.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Allen Lewis, three sons, Gary, Randall, and Ricky Allen Lewis, one grandson, Stacy Lewis, four brothers, Clifford Morrison, Jr., Wayne, Jerry, and James Morrison. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons, Micheal Lewis (Diana) of Athens; Roger Lewis (Deborah) of Rogersville; two daughters, Debra Evans (Jerry Lynn) of Athens; Shirley Lewis of Decatur; one brother, Dillard Morrison (Mary Nell) of Five Points, TN; two sisters, Robbie Woods of Rogersville; Lisa McCubbin (Mark) of Saint Petersburg, FL; eight grandchildren, Greg Forsythe, Brandon Lewis (Maggie), Summer Lewis, Haley Lewis, Bridget Evans, Dana Smith (Will), Blake Lewis (Jessi), Kiki Anderson, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Ray Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Lewis, Greg Forsythe, Blake Lewis, Evan Patterson, Will Smith, and Josh Patterson.
