Funeral Service for Margaret Dell Carman Pylant, age 77 of Athens, will be Friday December 26, 2014 at 3:30 P.M. at First Church with Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday December 26, 2014 from 1-3:15 P.M. at First Church.

Mrs. Pylant died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Limestone Health Facility.

She was born September 7, 1937 in Westview , KY to Acie and Maurine Carman.

Mrs. Pylant was a homemaker and she attended First Church. She enjoyed reading the bible and doing crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Reg Pylant, one sister, Karolene Nottingham, and one brother, Billy Carman.

She is survived by her husband, John Pylant; 3 sons, Tony Pylant and wife Vickie; Jeff Pylant and wife Sandra; Marty Pylant and wife Amanda; 5 brothers, Sherman Carman, Lonnie Carman, Kelsie Carman, Randall Carman, David Edward Carman; 6 sisters, Gayla Armes, Rachel Armes, Jerry Conder, Goldie Kay Carman, Allean Dupin, and Helen Stives; 13 grandchildren, Toney Edwards, Brandon Pylant, Randall Pylant, Grant Pylant, Dylan Pylant, Keith Adams, Jeremi Pylant Smith, Jessica Pylant Smith, Chassity Pylant, Kelsey Pylant Novalis, Hailey Pylant, Courtney Pylant, and Brooke Russell; and 16 great-grandchildren.
