Ms. Potter was born November 27, 1955, in New York to Richard Potter and Bobbie Jean Bradford Potter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Potter, Jr.
Ms. Potter was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens. She loved to travel. Ms. Potter spent much of her life taking care of her family. She was a devoted daughter and sister. Lyn was an avid reader; she volunteered at the church library for many years.
Ms. Potter is survived by many cousins.
There will be a Graveside Service held in Roselawn with Carl Evans officiating on Thursday April 3, 2025, at 11:00 A.M.
