Joe Biggs

Visitation will be Sunday April 28 from 6-9 at McConnell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Biggs passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.

He worked at Wayne’s Amusement for 20 years, then at Jiffy’s on Hwy 31 for 20 years, and he was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Mr. Biggs is preceded in to death by his parents, and one brother Douglas Biggs.

He is survived by his loving wife Kay Biggs of 44 yrs. of Athens, AL; four sons Brandon Biggs and wife Joy of Athens, AL, Chad Biggs of Athens, AL, Daniel Biggs and wife Tara of North Carolina, and Desmond Biggs of California; two daughters Angela Biggs of Athens, AL, and Elana Biggs of Athens, AL, eight grandchildren Jaydan Biggs, Madison Biggs, Lisa Biggs, Jaxon Biggs, J.B. Biggs, Sydni Wright, Logan Wright, Jenna Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
