A visitation will be held Tuesday July 15, 2020, at McConnell Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 16, 2020, in the Chapel beginning at 1:00pm with Bro. Doug Colwell officiating.
Ms. Bates is survived by her life-long friend, Tanya Lindsay; daughters, Sara Bates, Molly and Tennis Maxwell, Hannah Bates, Brooke Rollins, Ashley and Savannah Glover, and their father, Jerry Bates; brother, Timmy and Shannon Boles; sister, Jeannie and David Schoppa; grandchildren, Jaycee Wales, Paisley Adams, Emma Parsons, Blake Maxwell, Bailee Davis, Sophia Rodriguez, Addyson Lamb, and Ryver Glover; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Dorothy Boles; granddaughter, Courteney Wales; and sister, Kim Birdsong.
