Mrs. Whitt was born January 31, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Kellogg Miller and Mattie Eddins Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Houston Anderson Whitt of 63 years, two brothers Bryan Miller and Buster Miller, one sister Mary Carlson, and three grandsons Brent Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, and Aaron Marshall.
Ehrma was a graduate of Mount Ida Junior College in Newton, Mass. She was a retired employee from the State of Alabama, and a member of Tanner United Methodist Church. Ehrma, along with her husband Houston and children enjoyed many days on the Tennessee River on their houseboat “Ms. Beulah”, camping and fishing. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed working outside in the yard. Of all the many pleasures she enjoyed in her life, she truly loved a can of Coca-Cola and a game of Rook.
Mrs. Whitt is survived by four children Janice Higginbotham (Doug), Nancy Jacobs (Sandy), Joan Whitt, Andy Whitt (Becky), six grandchildren Ross Marshall, Jordan Green (Rebecca), Janna Augustine (Charlie), Brooke Blakely (Brandon), Robin Williams (McKenzie), Summer Whitt, nine Great- grandchildren Joshua Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Caleb Marshall, Jasper Green, Emma Marshall, Leah Marshall, Aurora Williams, Colton Blakely, and Everett Green.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 2, 2024, at McConnell Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 P.M.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday October 2, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Roselawn Cemetery with Mark Whitt officiating.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Augustine, Jasper Green, Ross Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Brandon Blakely, and McKenzie Williams.
Any donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Limestone County.
