Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday January 4, 2018, at McConnell Funeral Home. Burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
She passed away January 1, 2018, at Huntsville Hospital. Dorothy was born in Limestone County, AL.
She was preceded in death by husband, James "Jimmy" Davis; parents, James and Kathleen Pitts Turner; sister, Gladys Griffin; and brother, James William Turner.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Garris and Lindy Davis; two grandchildren, Morgan Garris and Jake Garris and wife Christi; two brothers, Bobby Turner and wife Patricia, Ernie Turner; two sisters, Betty Adams and husband Royce, Peggy Whitworth and husband Rick; several nieces and nephews; and all the wonderful people her life has touched.
