On August 15, 2019, Leo Hartness, of Regina, formerly of Milestone, passed away at age 98. Predeceased by his parents, Selena and Walter, siblings: Joseph, Thomas (Emma), John, Ethel Wilson, Lois (Wes) Maynard, brothers-in-law George Wallis and Lloyd Rodger. Leo is survived by siblings: Harvey (Cecelia), Mabel Wallis, Maurice, Alvin (Lynn), Selena Rodger, sister-in-law Ann Hartness, numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral Service for Leo was held Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Ross Funeral Chapel, 123 4th Ave. East, Assiniboia, SK with Reverend Arleen Champion officiating. Royal Canadian Legion Rites. Following fellowship at the 55 Club, interment took place at the Verwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, Saskatoon, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
