George Caragata

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of George Caragata Jr. age 88, of Moose Jaw, SK on Monday, October 16, 2023. George was predeceased by his parents George Sr and Alexandra Caragata, brother Nick and sister Helen and is survived by his brother John and five children; Barry and his children, Justin, Brody and Shania and great-grandson Gray, Cindy (Dennis) and their sons Brennan, Devin and Donoven, Tracey (Sheldon) and their sons Shain and Carson, Coralie (Trevor) and their daughter Lexi and Marni (Ken) and their sons Cody, Travis and Joel.

George grew up on the family farm by Wood Mountain where he made his home and livelihood with his family until his later years. After he retired from farming, he moved to Moose Jaw where he enjoyed helping out at the senior centre, attending dances and going for long walks everyday.

A graveside service will be held in Moose Jaw, SK at a later date. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.rossfuneralservice.com for the Caragata family.
