Thomas Booth Carter

Thomas Booth Carter, age 88, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024. He was the loving husband of the late Minnie Pauline Carter; devoted father of Mark A. Carter (Michelle), Roy G. Carter, and Thomas B. Carter, Jr. (Alison); cherished grandfather of Charlene Booth (Billy), Wanda Elamrani, Lance Carter, Kattie Carter, Tiffany Lowe (Kevin), Sherri Meyers, Ryan Carter, and Thomas Carter, III, and many great-grandchildren. Tom worked as a plumber for Pinson Plumbing and was a minister for Cornerstone Ministries, his passion in the church was visiting ministry. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves, and had a passion for cars. Relatives and friends are invited to Thomas' visitation at Nelsen Funeral Home- Ashland, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA on Tuesday, August, 20th from 5-7 PM, and where a funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Kings Chapel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 13346 W Patrick Henry Rd, Doswell, VA 23047.
