Neal Thomas Hale Sr.

Neal Thomas Hale Sr., age 66, of Ashland, Virginia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Neal was preceded in death by his Father Lloyd Hale and his brother Lloyd Hale Jr AKA Bubba. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Tricia Hale; children, Crystal Barger (Nicholas), Neal Hale Jr., and T.W. Sheldon (Janet); grandkids, Wesley Sheldon and Makayla Dawson; Mother Glennette Hale, Sister Nina Shroyer and Kelly O'Neal AKA Carol; Brothers, Joe Hale, Kenny Hale and Andrew Hale. He loved being in the woods metal detecting and gold prospecting. He also enjoyed sitting in his chair reading about The Civil War and looking through cookbooks to find new recipes. The family will receive friends from 3:30pm to 6:00pm on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005.
