Michael Shawn Mancini

Michael Shawn Mancini of Doswell, VA, (Age 58), passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 after a long illness. Although faced with the challenges of Hodgkin’s disease at an early age, and heart failure and cancer that resulted from his treatment, he always found the good in life and people. His heart may have been physically weak, but it was filled with love, and he fought very hard for his survival. He was happiest when enjoying nature and being outdoors, especially cutting wood and driving his Gator. He worked in banking and later as an antique dealer and he was a handyman who could fix most anything. His is survived by his mother, Bette Lavinder of Doswell; his father, J.P. Mancini; siblings, Shea, Michelle and Ava Mancini.
