Lewis Hardy, age 96, of Ashland, Virginia claimed the promise of the resurrection on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa Lee Gray Hardy and Jack Hardy; wife, Bernice Hardy and daughter-in-law, Kathy Hardy.
Lewis is survived by his son; Andy Hardy, grandchildren; Matt Hardy, Zach Hardy and Sam Hardy and great-grandchildren; Victoria, Grace, Camryn, Andy and Nola. He is also survived by his niece; Mary Conway and nephews; Barry and Dave Gourley.
He served in the U.S. Army in WWII, was a photographer for Dementi Studio and a member of Welborne United Methodist Church.
