Estelle Gammon Bandy

Estelle Gammon Bandy, age 98, of Ashland, Virginia went to be with The Lord on Monday, December 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bandy; former husbands, Nelson Lipscomb and William Gammon; and 9 siblings, Pearl, Mary, Barbara, Lily, Nellie, Kate, Nelson, William, and Kermit. Estelle was a dedicated mother and wife. She enjoyed playing music and singing. She was a member of Ashland Church of God. Estelle is survived by her daughters, Edith Williams (James) and Doris Graninger; grandchildren, J.C. Williams and Neil Williams; great-granddaughter, Kendall Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle St., Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will begin at 12pm. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 11310 Hanover Ave., Ashland, VA 23005.
