She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Layne. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Layne Jr; Son, Brian Layne, and Daughter, Jackie Wright; Grandchildren, Justen Layne, Zachary Layne, Ashley Johnson, and Brandon Wright; as well as 7 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 5087 - Nelsen Ashland, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005.
