Stuart Henry Reichardt

Stuart was born on December 11, 1957 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. He was the son of Lewis and Janet (Coffin) Reichardt. A big heart, Stuart was readily available to lend a helping hand to others when needed. He had great love for children, devoting time as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and as a coach of one of his favorite sports, soccer. He was known on the soccer field as “Coach”. He was an active grandfather who tried to always be present for his grandchildren’s sporting events. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with his salt water aquarium and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Grace (Brodhead) Reichardt; his children, Casey Reichardt-Lavene, Charlie Olson, Gregg Franks, and Brad Reichardt; his grandchildren, Trevor and Thomas Steele, Madison and William V Lavene, Shyann, Eric, and Aaron Franks, and Isys and Ariel Howard; his great-grandchildren, Lily Bowen and Bellamy Pasket; his grandchildren by choice, Maggie and Sadie Jones; and his brothers, Lewis and Allen Reichardt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Shirley Oney.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 pm at Ashland Church of the Nazarene, 1196 Township Rd. 1506 Ashland, Ohio 44805. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
