Bruce H. Harned

Bruce was born on February 13, 1942 in Hayesville, Ohio. He was the son of Russell and Josephine (Kennedy) Harned. He retired from Hydromatic Pump in 2007 as a service and warranty manager. Bruce was always working on cars and tractors. He was a car and tractor enthusiast. Bruce drove stock cars at Lakeville and Wooster dirt tracks, and he enjoyed NASCAR. Always there for everyone, Bruce went out of his way to help others.

Bruce was survived by his wife, Janet (McCurdy) Harned; three sons, Mark (Alice) Harned, Matthew (Debbie James) Harned, and Michael (Denise) Harned; grandchildren, Megan, Brent, Vanessa, and Paige; seven great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Frank Harned, Betty Becker, and Jone Horner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Harned, Howard Harned, and Russel Harned; his brothers-in-law, Monty McCurdy, Dempsey Becker, and Dave Horner; and sisters-in-law, Frances Harned, Janice Harned, and Kay Harned.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Vermillion Cemetery in Haysville, OH. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ashland is honored to serve the Harned family.
