Richard "Lucky" Norval Krah, age 86, of Imperial, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was born June 8, 1936. Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Hille), his parents, George and Veldean (nee Wondel) Benck, his daughter, Fern Veldean Henderson, a son, Richard N. Krah II, and a granddaughter, Renee Dawn Mottaz.
Richard leaves behind his daughter, Kathy (Neal) Chadbourne. He was a loving grandfather to Kelly (Jason) Mottaz, Jennifer Henderson, Richie (Loani) Krah III, Neal (Katie) Chadbourne II, Jason (Sharon) Chadbourne and great grandfather to, Olivia, Bella, Bradley, Brandon, Evie, Sophia, Charlie III, Gracie, Alaina, Josie, Jude, and Jane.
Richard was a huge fan of the University of Alabama football. “Go Crimson Tide.” Richard enjoyed the outdoors and referred to it as “God’s creation.” He would often gaze at the moons and stars and became quite knowledgeable about astronomy. Richard’s most treasured gift was his love for animals and his sweet horse, Dolly.
A gathering of family and friends for Richard will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
