She was born on January 13, 1933 in Middlebrook, Ar. to the late Henry and Gertrude (nee Biggs) Scheneman; loving wife of the late Major "Neil" Lackey; dear mother of Gary (Diane) Lackey of Oakville, MO and Brenda (Kenneth) Dake of Sedalia, MO; dear grandmother of Darrell Dake of Pittsburgh, KS, Joel (Katie) Dake of Sedalia, MO, Kelley (Exel) Chacon of Columbia, MO, Sheila (Ryan) Galliher of Columbia, MO; Rachel (Jonathan) Wistrom of Maryville, MO, Jeffrey (Paul Estill) Lackey of Weldon Spring, MO, Erin (Andrew) Reitter of Oakville, MO and Dawn (Jeremy) Booker of Arnold, MO; dear great grandmother of 19, great great grandmother of 1, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend to many.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday August 11,2018, 10:00 am at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. with visitation on Friday August 10, 2018 from 4-8 pm and Saturday 9:00 am until time of service. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations in Helen's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
